Talis Kimberley-Fairbourn, the Swindon Area Green Party, offered a response to the news that the amount of household waste from Swindon being sent to landfill has increased. The average amount of waste sent to landfill in 2012/2013 per household was 463kgs, in 2013/2014 this amount increased to an average of 524kgs per household – an increase of 13.2 per cent.
